Et qui, par ailleurs, est, en grande partie une compilation des deux premiers [Landes 1861 & Delvau 1864]. Avec toutefois –c’est sa principale utilité– un assez grand nombre d’argotismes de la fin du XIXe siècle. » (Guiraud 1978)
